Founded in 2013, the ACI Alaska Chapter is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote concrete education throughout Alaska. Our mission is to provide local industry, working professionals, and students the best education in technical practice, scientific investigation, and research by organizing the efforts of the national American Concrete Institute (ACI) and our local Alaskan members.

ACI Concrete Field
A Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade I is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform and record the results of seven basic field tests on freshly mixed concrete.
ACI Concrete Strength
An individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of four basic laboratory procedures related to the determination of concrete compressive and flexural strength.
ACI Aggregate Testing
An Aggregate Testing Technician–Level 1 is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of basic field and laboratory procedures for aggregates.
ACI Aggregate/Soils Based Testing Technician
